Sweet small pumpkin dumplings tossed with a ginger and sage sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin dumplings in a Gingered Sage sauce.

3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 egg white
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp fresh ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of curry
1/2 cup of canned pumpkin puree
1 tbsp fresh sage
2 1/2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/8 tsp fresh ginger

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin dumplings in a Gingered Sage sauce.

  1. Wisk together all of the ingredients untill blended. Drop the batter into a LARGE pot of boiling salted water. Boil for 10 minutes stiring occasionaly.

  2. In the meantime warm the oil in a skillet along with the sage and ginger. When the dumplings are done toss in the butter suace.

  3. Serve warm
