Soft and delicious pumpkin cookies with glaze

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Cookies, Iced

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
8 oz pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups confectioner's sugar
3 tblsp milk
1 tblsp butter
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Cookies, Iced

  1. Combine all dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add pumpkin, egg, and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until creamy. Mix in dry ingredients. Drop on cookie sheet by tablesponfuls.

  2. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool

  3. Make Glaze: drizzle on cookies.
