Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Cider Bread (ADA)

2 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
2 tsp double-acting baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup apple cider
1/3 cup pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Cider Bread (ADA)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, combine the whole-wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Add the dry ingredients slowly to the large bowl and mix until blended. Do not overbeat. Pour the batter into a 9-inch loaf pan and bake for 40 minutes until the tester comes out clean.
