lowfat pumpkin bread without applesauce.

Recipe Ingredients for pumpkin bread

1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t cloves
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk
1 egg
1 T canola oil
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for pumpkin bread

  1. preheat oven to 350. spray loaf pan with nonstick spray.

  2. mix 1st six ingredients. in another bowl, mix the next five ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix just until moistened. Stir in raisins and walnuts.

  3. bake one hour
