Substitute cooking oil for applesauce if desired in the same amount

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Bread

1/3 cup applesauce
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup milk
1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Bread

Mix first five ingredients with electric mixer for three minutes. add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 - 60 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
