Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Bread, Joojoo style

1/2 cup wheat flour (graham)
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cups applesauce (apple cinnamon sauce)
1 1/2 egg whites
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp molasses

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Bread, Joojoo style

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Grease and Flour a loaf pan, set aside

  3. Stir the dry ingredients together in one bowl

  4. Blend the wet ingredients into a separate bowl

  5. Slowly pour, while stirring, dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Mix it in well.

  6. Pour the batter into the greased/floured loaf pan

  7. Bake at 350 for 45 min (or 70 minutes for larger pans)

  8. Insert a knife into the center of the loaf. If the knife pulls away clean, the bread is finished.

  9. Outside should have a nice crust and the center should be moist.
