Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Bars from mrs. Whelden

2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
4 eggs, beaten
16 ounces canned pumpkin
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cooking oil
1 1/2 ounces cream cheese
2 ounces butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Bars from mrs. Whelden

  1. 350 degrees.

  2. Mix dry ingredients.

  3. Combine egg, pumpkin, sugar and oil.

  4. add dry to wet.

  5. spread batter into an ungreased pan 15x10x1. bake 15-20 minutes. Cool and then frost. cut into bars.

  6. for frosting beat cream chease, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy. gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth.

  7. Store in Refrigerator.
