Recipe Ingredients for Pumkin Banana Oat Muffins

1/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup banana, mashed
1/3 cup canned pumpkin, no salt
1/4 cup steel cut oats

Recipe Directions for Pumkin Banana Oat Muffins

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Sift dry ingredients together. Mash together banana and pumpkin. Alternately add the dry ingredients and the banana mixture to the shortening mix, completely mixing each time. Stir in oats. Fill a greased 6-muffin pan with misture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and pan, allow to cool.
