Recipe Ingredients for Pulled Pork Sandwhich

1 lb pork butt
100 g (2 buns) orowheat whole wheat bun
6 oz barbecue sauce
1 cucumbers, thinly sliced
1/4 small white onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons white sugar
3/4 teaspoon dried dill

Recipe Directions for Pulled Pork Sandwhich

  1. Pork Sandwhich:

  2. Put the pork in the slow cooker, pour 1/2 cup of the bbq sauce over it and cook on low heat for 8 hours.

  3. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let cool.

  4. Meanwhile, skim the fat from the juices, place the juices in a sauce pan and simmer to reduce.

  5. Mix as much of the juices as you want into the remaining bbq sauce.

  6. When the pork is cool enough to work with, shred it with a pair of forks.

  7. Mix the pulled pork bbq sauce.

  8. Assemble sandwiches and enjoy.

  9. Cucumber Salad:

  10. Thinly slice cucumbers and onions and toss.

  11. Heat Vinegar, Water and Sugar in a pan on med-high until combined.

  12. Pour on top of cucumbers and onions then add dill.

  13. Toss and refrigerate until cold.
