Pulled Bbq Chicken Recipe

Pulled chicken- similar to pulled pork but a bit healthier.

Recipe Ingredients for Pulled BBQ Chicken

2 lbs boneless chicken
18 oz bbq sauce (your choice)

Recipe Directions for Pulled BBQ Chicken

  1. Allow chicken to marinte in spices of your choice- I use brown sugar, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. They do not need the spices, but I think it gives it a little edge.

  2. Fill crock pot about 3/4 full with water, enough to completely submerge chicken.

  3. Add chicken to crock pot, set to low.

  4. Cook on low setting 8-10 hours.

  5. Pull chicken apart with two forks. Clean crock pot and add pulled chicken back in.

  6. Add bbq sauce to chicken, cook on low additional 1-2 hours. Any bbq sauce will do, my favorite is Sweet Baby Rays.
