Though I find them delicious, no one is going to confuse these with actual truffles

Recipe Ingredients for Protein Truffles

75 grams Oat Flour
1 1/2 serving Life's Basics Plant Protein Chocolate (LifeTime)
75 grams Flaxseed Meal
3 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1/4 cup Almond Butter, Plain
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Protein Truffles

  1. Grind old-fashioned oats into a flour using a blender or food processor.

  2. In a large bowl, combine oat flour, ground flaxseed, protein powder and cocoa powder.

  3. Add almond butter, 1/4 c.water and vanilla and stir to combine. Add salt and adjust stevia to taste.

  4. Using a large spoon, scoop dough into ping-pong sized balls.

  5. Roll until smooth.

  6. Chill for 30 minutes to allow truffles to set.
