Multi grain cereal, apples, peanut butter, protein powder. Next time - more apple - like two more. use oats instead of the multi grain. you can't taste the peanut butter, so add more egg and protein powder for the protein. more bran buds would probably be good as well as pumpkin pie spice.

Recipe Ingredients for Protein Fiber Bars

4 1/2 cups Multi Grain Hot Cereal
3 scoops Designer Whey French Vanilla (Protein Powder)
5 1/2 tbs Non-Fat Dry Milk
20 grams Whole Psyllium Husk
2/3 cup Bran Buds
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
4 4/5 cup slices Gala Apple (with peel)
5 3/10 tablespoons Peanut Butter
2 large Eggs

Recipe Directions for Protein Fiber Bars

  1. Grind up the Bran Buds in a food processor

  2. Mix together all dry ingredients

  3. Grind up the apple in a food processor with about .333 or .5 cup water

  4. Mix apple into dry mix

  5. Grind up peanut butter and eggs in a food processor

  6. Mix eggs and pb into mix

  7. Spread mixture into a greased baking dish

  8. Baked at 325 for 15 minutes then 400 for 10 minutes (probably could just cook it at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes until fork comes out clean)

  9. Let it cool before cutting it up
