Very yummy "truffles" that are way too sweet and yummy to be considered a healthy snack but let's just call it GUILTLESS!! :D

Recipe Ingredients for Protein Dessert Truffles

3 tbs Reduced Fat Peanut Butter
3 tbs
4 oz Cream Cheese Fat Free
1/2 cup Splenda Granular
2 tbs Vanilla
4 1/2 scoops 100% Whey Protein Powder
2 tbs Instant Coffee
1/16 cup Puffed Rice Cereal
1/16 cup Walnuts, crushed

Recipe Directions for Protein Dessert Truffles

  1. Melt Peanut Butter, Applesauce, Splenda, & Vanilla. Get it nice and hot in the microwave. :)

  2. Fold in the 1/2 container of Fat Free Cream Cheese.

  3. Fold in the 4.5 Scoops of Whey Powder (mind you I used Dymatize Elite Chocolate Powder, so the actual cals are 160, 1.5g carbs, 6g protein each). Make sure to scrape/push down the sides

  4. Refrigerate until kinda stiff and cold.

  5. Put the rice cereal & walnuts in a baby food processor/blender/whatever and make it into a powder form (I like to add the coffee flavored Splenda packets to it for added hazelnut flavor)

  6. Toss little teaspoon fulls into the powder mixture and shake off into little balls.

  7. Put all the balls in a plate and freeze them for 1hr or refrigerate overnight.
