Recipe Ingredients for protein cinnamon cake bars

1 cup Whole Grain Oat Flour
0.5 cup dry Organic Buckwheat Flour
4 serving whey protein 1/2 scoop
3 serving Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
4 scoop Stevia Powder
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 large Egg, Whole
2 serving Original Almond Fresh
0.33 cup Apple Sauce Unsweetened Organics
2 oz No Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
5 tsp Sugars, Granulated

Recipe Directions for protein cinnamon cake bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 88 pyrex or cake pan.

  2. Combine dry ingredients (first 7) in a large bowl.

  3. Combine remaining ingredients (except sugar + cinnamon) in a small bowl and whisk to combine.

  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until fully incorporated.

  5. Pour half the batter into the baking dish.

  6. Combine sugar + cinnamon and sprinkle half of the mixture over the batter until the entire surface is covered.

  7. Pour remaining batter on top and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.

  8. Take a knife and gently swirl batter around to mix the cinnamon sugar topping into the cake.

  9. Bake for about 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

  10. Let cool in pan for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

  11. Wrap individually and store in refrigerator.
