Recipe Ingredients for PROTEIN BARS

175 grams whey protein
2 cups oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
1/3 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup soy milk
7 dried prunes

Recipe Directions for PROTEIN BARS

  1. Line 9x9 pan with parchment or wax paper, put to side.

  2. Combine oats, whey protein, and cinnamon in medium bowl.

  3. Combine all other ingredients in medium microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for one minute in microwave. Take out and stir for one minute. If ingredients not all combined, microwave 30 more seconds and stir again.

  4. Pour wet mixture over dry mixture and mix thoroughly.

  5. Pour into 9x9 pan and then stick into fridge for 30 minutes.

  6. Take out of fridge and cut into 8 pieces (can cut into smaller pieces if wanted).
