Good for low carb diets - I reduce fat by using "light" butter, fat free cream cheese, and reduced fat pb but cannot get those ingredients to be included in the calorie count. Sometimes I also chop up a sugar free chocolate bar and mix it in.

Recipe Ingredients for protein bars

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
4 ounces cream cheese
5 scoops protein powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup pecans

Recipe Directions for protein bars

  1. melt butter in microwave, add pb and softened cream cheese to it and mix with spoon

  2. add protein powder, vanilla, pecans and Splenda to taste

  3. press mixture firmly in 8x8 inch pan

  4. slice into 12 pieces, put whole pan in freezer

  5. remove when firm
