Seed and nut protein bar with fiber

Recipe Ingredients for Protein Bar

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup flax seed
1/2 cup flax meal
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup buckwheat groats
2 cups peanut butter
1/4 cup rice syrup
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flax oil

Recipe Directions for Protein Bar

  1. Toast all nuts and seeds lightly in iron skillet. Melt peanut butter and toss in butter, oil and syrup.

  2. Pour over nut mixture. Press into a 9x9nonstick pan and refrigerate overnight. Cut into 20 equal pieces. Will keep in refrigerator for up to a week.
