I have the same issue.  It also doesn't help that I love food.  What works best for me is to keep myself busy, otherwise I either eat or sleep or both!!  Also, on days when I do workout - I eat less and don't eat out of boredom.

I'm in the same position.  I'm trying to lose at least 20lbs by my Birthday (May12).  It's not going to be easy and just take one day at a time.

 Eat lots of lean protein to keep hunger away.  I recommend eating eggs in the morning.  I use egg Substitute in place of real eggs to keep the calories down and for a mid-morning snack I'll have some Non fat Greek yogurt. 

After a hard workout have a glass of non-fat Chocolate milk within 15min.  It has the electrolytes, carbs and proteins to help replenish what you lost.

My weakness is in the late hours.  Something I'm  trying is to drink Mint tea at night to help keep the sweet cravings away.  This is my 1st week trying it.  The real test will be during the weekend.

Keep up the great work and don't get discourage if you don't lose all the weight you want to by May.

If you don't want to use fruit you can add some vanilla extract or spices like cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for flavor.  I like to sweeten it a bit with splenda (i don't like the taste of truvia but that's a good substitute also).

Good old unhealthy traditional food.  The only difference is, I'll be eating just a little bit of each to satisfy.
