Weight Loss SHORT GIRLS: how do you deal???? Mar 29 2012

Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time of it. I'm 5'0" and well I guess I never really cared. When people ask I list the benefits and shrug hehe I'm 34 with chubby cheeks most think I'm 22 which at my age you love! I am taken seriously at work because of my ethics amongst other attributes. It makes you develop skills quick to prove to others you're the best for the job. Being short you always fit in bathtubs and bed comfortably. I can shop in kids section for shoes so it's cheaper. You could never be drafted in the army should that ever happen because you don't meet the height requirement since women are prevalent in the army now. You have a reason for your man to be your hero getting something down for you. Oh kids bikes as well so save money hehe.

Hopefully you will come to appreciate your height :) i am sure there are a ton more benefits but hopefully this selection cheers you up.

Thanks! So far this week I've lost 5.2 pounds by just staying within my calories and exercising. I think I may have been retaining some water. So off to a good start :)

Does anyone know if you can favourite a topic on an iphone? Took me 10 min to find this topic again!

Hello there,

I wouldn't mind joining the group as well. I am 5'0" and I weigh 244 pounds this morning. I started off originally at 305 pounds and have been taking off the weight slowly over the last 3 years.

My problem is a good and bad thing. Its great to know I can maintain! However ive been maintaining over a year now and want to lose again.

Mu goal weight is 200 for now. I haven't had children yet, but I will be trying within the next couple of years. So I'd rather focus on feeling healthy then being skinny. The last time I weighed 200 I felt great!

Good luck to all of you :)
