Recipe Ingredients for Primal Proten Bars with Chocolate

90 g flax meal
50 g unsweetened chocolate
56 g almond butter
41 g Shredded unsweetened coconut
64 g coconut oil
168 g walnuts
103 g almonds (chopped)
133 g cashews
93 g almonds (whole)
1 1/2 t black-strap molasses

Recipe Directions for Primal Proten Bars with Chocolate

  1. Crush nuts (except whole almonds) in food processor

  2. Melt coconut butter, chocolate, molasses, Truvia, and almond butter over low heat

  3. Mix dry ingredients in mixer then add melted items (crushed nuts and flax meal)

  4. press into a 8' by 8' pan

  5. press whole almonds onto top

  6. chill to set

  7. keep refrigerated

  8. Very low sugar, high protein, all natural.
