Completely nonsweetened, Primal approved Chocolate/Almond/Coconut truffle dessert. High in fat for dense calories, and you won't even realize it isn't sweetened.

Recipe Ingredients for Primal Chocolate Salty Balls

8 tbsp raw Coconut
1 square (1 oz) Baking Chocolate, Unsweetened, Squares
1/4 cup Almond Butter, Plain
1/4 cup Butter
1 grams Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Primal Chocolate Salty Balls

  1. Toast the coconut. Melt the chocolate with the butter and stir in the peanut butter until the mixture is smooth.

  2. Add 1/4 cup of the coconut, stir well. Chill until firm.

  3. Combine remaining coconut with a pinch of salt.

  4. When chocolate mixture is firm, scoop it out using spoons or a cookie scoop.

  5. Roll in salted coconut mix until covered.

  6. Store in the refrigerator. Makes 9 Tablespoon-size servings.
