Recipe Ingredients for Practical Brownie and Sauce

1/4 cup sugar (1/2cup splenda +0cal +0gsugar)
3 oz margarine
1 oz corn syrup
1 oz cocoa powder
1/16 oz vanilla extract
3 oz egg
4 oz pastry flour
1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/6 cup splenda
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped almonds

Recipe Directions for Practical Brownie and Sauce

  1. cream sugar/splenda, margarine, corn syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract on medium speed untill light

  2. add eggs slowly

  3. add pastry flour, mix to combine

  4. divide batter into muffin tins or greased sheet pan bake at 350 untill barely set in middle

  5. Put the cocoa in a medium heavy bottomed saucepan; slowly pour in 1/4 cup water, whisking until dissolved. Whisk in evaporated milk, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla.

  6. Set the saucepan over medium-high heat; bring just to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer stirring constantly, until thickened, 6-8 minutes.
