Pozole soup made from 12 oz dry pozole and 12 oz chorizo made from pork tenderloin.

Recipe Ingredients for Pozole Soup

6 cups hominy
12 oz pork tenderloin
15 oz petite diced tomatoes
1 onion
1/2 bell pepper
1 hot pepper
2 oz canned green chile
3 cloves garlic
3 tsp salt
3 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Pozole Soup

  1. Cook hominy in crockpot with 7 cups water.

  2. Add diced tomatoes 2 hours from end.

  3. Heat vegetable oil and saute chorizo, onion, garlic bell pepper and hot pepper.

  4. Add mixture to crock pot 1 hour from end.

  5. Season with salt and chili powder
