Recipe Ingredients for Power Bars

3 oz Apricots, Dried, Sulfured, Uncooked
5 oz Figs, Dried, Uncooked
4 oz Dried Cherries
3 oz Raisins, Golden Seedless
2 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup Grape-nuts Cereal
2 serving Egg, Whole
1/2 cup Apple Sauce Unsweetened Organics
1/2 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted
3/8 cup, unpacked Sugars, Brown
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1/2 cups Sunflower Seeds Hulled
1/2 cup, slivered Almonds
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Power Bars

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9 X12 inch baking pan with silver foil. Spray foil with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, cereal and cinnamon. Add egg, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, and oil. Mix well. Stir in seeds, nuts and chopped dried fruit. Spread mixture evenly in pan. Bake 30-40 minutes or until firm and lightly browned around the edges. Let cool. Use the foil to life from the pan. Cut into small bars or squares and store in refrigerator.
