Casserole with frozen shredded potatoes or real shredded potatoes

Recipe Ingredients for potatoe casserole

32 ounces potatoes, shredded
12 ounces sour cream
16 ounces American cheese, chopped
10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup
3 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup butter
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper

Recipe Directions for potatoe casserole

  1. Mix all but corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter and hash browns. Pour thawed hash browns in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour mixture on top. Put crushed corn flakes on top of mixture. Then pour 1/4 cup butter on top.

  2. Bake 45 minutes at 350 F.
