A creamy potato soup - a perfect warm comfort food on a cold fall day.

Recipe Ingredients for Potato Soup

4 cups potatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3 cups milk, 1%
2 cups water
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter

Recipe Directions for Potato Soup

  1. Saute onions in butter until soft.

  2. Add water and potatoes. Boil until soft.

  3. Lightly mash.

  4. Add milk, chicken broth, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

  5. Bring to a slow boil and add flour (shaken in a container with a small amount of water). Simmer until slightly thickened.
