This is a hearty potato soup. Perfect for a rainy day!

Recipe Ingredients for Potato Soup

6 Potato large (3" to 4-1/4" dia) Potato, Flesh And Skin
1 Serving Sherry
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.25 cup Butter
6 cup Chicken Stock
5 dash Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Potato Soup

  1. Saute onions in butter until yellow

  2. Add stock and sherry, bring to a boil

  3. Add the 6 peeled and diced potatoes and cook for 20-30 minutes until very tender

  4. Mash 1/3 of the potatoes into the broth giving it a thicker consistency

  5. Serve and enjoy!
