tasty basic soup you can use whole milk, 2% milk or skim milk in this recipe. whole milk of course taste richer.

Recipe Ingredients for Potato soup for 2

1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tbs finely chopped celery
1 1/2 c water
1/2 c diced potatoes
1/2 c water
2 tbs flour
1 tsp margarine
1 c milk
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Potato soup for 2

  1. add onions, celery and potatoes to the 1 1/2 c water, simmering for about 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

  2. In a seperate bowl combine 1/2 c water with flour and salt.

  3. Mix to a smooth paste.

  4. add to the soup

  5. cook until the soup thickens and looses the starch taste

  6. remove from heat

  7. add milk, margarine and pepper

  8. put back on heat to bring back to serving temperature
