Sweet Potato/White Potato torte in rosemary crust

Recipe Ingredients for Potato Gratin with Rosemary

2 pie crusts
1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped
1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
2 cups Gruyere cheese, shredded
1 1/2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes
1 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 garlic clove, minced

Recipe Directions for Potato Gratin with Rosemary

Roll between 2 crusts: Rosemary, pepper and 1/2 cup cheese. Fit into 9-inch round pan with removable sides. Fold edged under Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Layer 1/3 white potatoes, 1/3 sweet potatoes, 1/4 cup cheese, salt. Repeat twice more. Press down. Microwave cream and minced garlic 45 seconds. Pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup cheese. Cover with foil. Bake 450 degrees for 60 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 25 minutes until potatoes done and browned. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving. Garnish with rosemary sprigs.
