Recipe Ingredients for Potato-Broccoli Salad

5 oz potatoes
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1 cup broccoli
2 cups green leaf lettuce
1/2 cup cabbage
1 clove garlic
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Recipe Directions for Potato-Broccoli Salad

  1. Steam potatoes. Melt 1/2 T butter and 1/2 T oil in pan; add salt and paprika. Cube potatoes and put them in the butter; stir to coat. Put the potatoes on a broiling pan and broil 10 minutes or until slightly browned.

  2. Steam broccoli 6 minutes, then chop. Shred the cabbage.

  3. Mix the last 6 ingredients together to make the dressing.

  4. Put lettuce and cabbage in serving bowl, toss with dressing, add broccoli and potatoes, toss again.
