Creamy potato soup with reduced salt and fat

Recipe Ingredients for Potao soup

2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.25 cup Whole Wheat Flour
0.5 Teaspoon Thyme
0.25 tsp Rosemary, Dried
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
1.5 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
1 tbsp Butter

Recipe Directions for Potao soup

  1. Place potatoes and water in large saucepan

  2. cook over medium heat until tender

  3. in another saucepan saute onion in butter until tender

  4. Stir in flour, thyme, rosemary and perpper

  5. Gradually add milk

  6. Bring to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes

  7. Add potatoes with cooking liquid

  8. heat through
