Makes 8 servings

30-minute pot stickers stuffed with shrimp, turkey and broccoli.

Recipe Ingredients for Pot Stickers

6 oz Ground Turkey
10 large shrimp
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 cups broccoli slaw
1/2 cup chives
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp ginger
2 tbsp canola oil
2 cups chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Pot Stickers

  1. Cook the turkey breast with the tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat in a shallow pan.

  2. Meanwhile, combine the shrimp (pre-cooked), broccoli slaw, chives, soy sauce (try the low-sodium vesion), sesame oil, garlic and ginger into a food processor.

  3. Add the chicken when it is finished cooking.

  4. Pulse the ingredients together into a course grind.

  5. Lay the first wonton wrapper flat and add a small tablespoon of filling to the center.

  6. Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water to make them sticky. Fold the wonton wrapper into a triangle and pinch to close; try to push out most of the air.

  7. Repeat with as many as desired.

  8. Heat the canola oil over medium high heat (the same pan from the chicken before will do fine)

  9. Add the pot stickers (seam-side up) and allow them to brown for about 5 minutes. Don't touch them during this process! Be patient.

  10. Add the 2 cups of chicken broth, reduce the heat to medium and steam the pot stickers for another 5-10 minutes.

  11. Remove the lid and allow the chicken broth to cook off.

  12. Serve!

  13. **Note: The calories listed in this are using regular ground turkey (I usually use the 98% fat-free but the analyzer wouldn't accept it).

  14. **Note: The calories listed are for the filling and oil used to sear them, not the actual wrappers. Wonton wrappers are ~20 cal/wrapper but I couldn't enter them. Just add it separately if you choose to use this recipe.
