This is a great all in one pan dinner that is delicious.

Recipe Ingredients for Pot Roast Dinner

3 lb. chuck roast
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
2 large onion(s), sliced
2 cup water
1 packet onion soup mix
6 medium red potatoes, uncooked scrubbed and quartered (about 1 pounds)
1 pound baby carrots
1/2 pound celery, fresh, chopped

Recipe Directions for Pot Roast Dinner

  1. Salt and pepper chuck roast and lightly coat with flour.

  2. Sear meat on both sides in non-stick pan.

  3. Put seared roast in center of large turkey roaster pan and add vegetables all around.

  4. Mix 1 package of onion soup mix in the 2 cups of water and pour mixture over and around meat and vegatables.

  5. Tent roaster pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degress for 2 hours.
