Recipe Ingredients for Pot Roast of Beef

3 lb Boneless beef roast
1/2 cup water or broth
3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
2 large carrots, thinly sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Recipe Directions for Pot Roast of Beef

Put vegetables in bottom of stoneware "crock pot". Salt and pepper meat, then place in pot and top of vegetables. Add liquid. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours or HIGH for 5 to 6 hours
