Found on Everyday Health website Ingredients: 12 oz lean ground beef 2 cups mushrooms, portobello chopped 3 tbsp bread crumbs, fine, dry 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp thyme, fresh 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper, black ground 4 slices bread, rye 1 clover garlic 1/4 tsp milk (recipe calls for 1%, I used fat-free) 8 tsp relish, sweet pickle 4 slices cheese, Swiss

Recipe Ingredients for Portobello and Beef Patty Melt

12 oz Laura's 92% Lean Ground Beef
2 cup chopped raw Portobello Mushrooms
0.188 cup Bread Crumbs Plain
3 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Thyme, Fresh
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
4 slice, regular Bread, Rye, Toasted
1 tsp Garlic
0.005 cup Organic Fat Free Milk
2.667 tbsp Pickle Relish, Sweet
4 serving Swiss Singles 2% Milk (Food Club)

Recipe Directions for Portobello and Beef Patty Melt

  1. Position boiler rack in upper third of oven; preheat broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil.

  2. Gently mix beef, mushrooms, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, thyme, salt and pepper in a medium bowl until combined. Shape into 4 patties and place on the prepared pan. Broil until cooked through, 4 to 6 minutes per side.

  3. Meanwhile, toast bread. Rub each slice of toast with garlic.

  4. Place 1 patty on each piece of toast, top each with 2 tsp relish and cover with a slice of cheese. Remove foil and place the sandwiches on the pan; broil until the cheese is just melted, 30 to 60 seconds.
