Low carb panini without the bread!!

Recipe Ingredients for Portabella panini

2 mushrooms, portabella
1/4 cup asparagus
1 clove garlic
2 teaspoons parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Portabella panini

  1. Chop asparagus and garlic.

  2. Saute for a few minutes.

  3. Destem, wash and dry mushrooms.

  4. Fill one cap with the sauted veggies.

  5. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese

  6. Put the other cap on top - outside facing out.

  7. Put in hot panini press - you may have to hold it in with a fork for a few minutes.

  8. Cook for 5-10 minutes until mushrooms start to shrink and drain a bit.

  9. Yummy!!
