Stir-fried pork and napa cabbage in hot-and-sour sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Pork Stir Fry

1 lb pork tenderloin
2 tsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp white wine
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp ginger
1/4 cup scallions, white parts only, sliced
4 tsp vegetable oil
8 cups napa cabbage
1 medium red bell pepper
6 tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 cup fat free low sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup white wine
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp chili sauce
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp sesame oil

Recipe Directions for Pork Stir Fry

  1. Toss the pork with the soy sauce and white wine in med. bowl. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, scallions, and 1 tsp each sesame oil and vegetable oil.

  2. Heat 1 tsp oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over high heat until just smoking. Add pork and cook until lightly browned, about 2 minutes. Transfer to clean bowl.

  3. Add 1 tsp oil and return to high heat. Add the bell pepper and cook until crisp-tender, about 1.5 minutes. Add half of the cabbage and cook until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a clean bowl.

  4. Add 1 tsp oil and return to high heat. Add the other half of the cabbage. Cook until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes, then add back the pepper and other cabbage.

  5. Clear the center of the pan and add the garlic mixture. Cook 1 min, mashing in the center of the pan until fragrant. Add pork. Whisk sauce and add to pan. Bring to simmer.
