3 cups broccoli, chopped into 1" pieces 3/4 cup fat-free, reduced-sodium chicken broth 1/2 cup chopped scallions 2 Tbsp minced garlic 2 Tbsp finely chopped ginger 2 tsp olive oil 1 cup chopped onion 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 lb boneless pork tenderloin, cut into strips 2" long and 1/2" wide 1 Tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Recipe Ingredients for Pork Stir-Fry with Garlic

2.5 cup, chopped Broccoli
1 serving Chicken Broth
1 clove Garlic
2 tsp Ginger, Ground
2 1tsp Olive Oil
1 cup, chopped Onions
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
16 oz Pork, Fresh, Loin, Center Rib (Chops), Boneless
1 tbsp Soy Sauce

Recipe Directions for Pork Stir-Fry with Garlic

  1. Steam broccoli about 2 minutes, or until bright green but still firm. Drain.

  2. Rinse with cold water to stop cooking and drain.

  3. Combine 1/4 cup of the broth with scallions, garlic, and ginger in food processor or blender and pulse until mixture is very finely chopped. Set aside.

  4. Heat 1 teaspoon of the oil in large nonstick saute? pan over medium-high heat. Add onions and bell peppers.

  5. Saute 5 minutes, or until vegetables are just tender. Transfer to bowl and cover to retain heat.

  6. Add remaining oil to pan over medium-high heat.

  7. Add scallion mixture and saute? about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add pork and soy sauce and saute? 4 minutes, or until pork is nearly cooked.

  8. Add remaining broth and bring to a boil.

  9. Add broccoli to pan and stir until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Add onions and peppers back to pan.

  10. Divide stir-fry between plates and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
