Recipe Ingredients for Pork sausage and penne pasta

10 oz Ronzoni Smart Pasta
2 1/2 cup Marinara Pasta Sauce
3 tbsp chopped Onions
3 clove Garlic
2 fl oz Wine, Table, Red
1/2 cup Italian Cheese Blend
4 links Premium Pork Sausage Links
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Pork sausage and penne pasta

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. Slice pork sausage into bite sized pieces and brown in a large skillet

  3. In separate large sauce pan boil salted water.

  4. While water is boiling, in another medium sauce pan saute onions and garlic in olive oil until fragrant but not brown.

  5. Turn off heat and add wine. Cook wine until almost gone and add one can of marinara of your choice.

  6. Add sausage to sauce and allow to simmer on low heat while stirring, make sure not to burn your sauce.

  7. Add penne pasta to boiling water and cook until el dente.

  8. Combine pasta and sauce, add to a casserole dish and cover with cheese.

  9. Bake until cheese is melted.
