The Christmas Favorite-- made with turkey! (makes two pies) Note: I used pre-made rolled up pillsbury pie crusts. The "864g" listed below is two top crusts and two bottom crusts.

Recipe Ingredients for Pork Pie

3 lb lean ground turkey
1 lb ground beef
2 onions
1 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp ground clove
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp salt
2 tsp poultry seasoning
3 cups water
864 g pie crust

Recipe Directions for Pork Pie

  1. cook all ingredients (except pie crust) on top of stove on low heat for two hours (uncovered)

  2. add crushed soda crackers or saltines

  3. place in uncooked pie crust and add top crust

  4. bake at 350 for 1 hour
