Recipe Ingredients for Pork with pears & yams

1 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 serving Flour
1 tsp Curry Powder
0.75 tsp Salt, Table
16 oz Pork, Fresh, Loin, Sirloin (Chops), Boneless
15 oz Yams
15 oz Pear Halves In Light Syrup
0.5 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
0.13 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Pork with pears & yams

  1. In non stick pan, heat oil.

  2. In large sealable bag, mix flour, curry powder, and 1/4 t. salt. Add pork, shake to coat.

  3. Transfer pork to skillet. Saute' until cooked through, about 3 min.s on each side.

  4. Meanwhile, cut yams into bite size chunks. Add to pork with pears, reserve pear juice, thyme, pepper and remaining 1/2 t of salt. Reduce heat and simmer until pork is cooked through, about 2 minutes longer.
