Boneless Pork Loin chops with Marmalade sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Pork Loin chops with Mustard & Marmalade Sauce

5 1/4 oz pork, fresh, loin, top loin (chops), boneless, broiled (chops weigh 7oz before cooking)
1 teaspoon oil
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon lite soy sauce
1 tablespoon catsup
1 tablespoon orange marmalade
1 teaspoon (spicy brown) mustard
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Recipe Directions for Pork Loin chops with Mustard & Marmalade Sauce

  1. 1.Preheat broiler. Spray broiler rack with cooking spray. Broil chops 4 inches from heat source until rare, about 2 minutes per side. Set aside.

  2. 2.Heat oil in a nonstick frying pan. Add onion, garlic and green pepper. Sauté until onion is translucent. Add water, soy sauce, catsup, marmalade, mustard and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer and stir until smooth.

  3. 3.Add pork chops and cover with sauce. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Check often and add water if necessary to prevent burning.
