Recipe Ingredients for Pork Dijon with Cider Pan Sauce

2 chop, excluding refuse (yield from 1 raw chop, with refuse, weig Pork, Fresh, Loin, Top Loin (Chops), Boneless
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Light Buttery Spread with Flax Oil
1 cup, quartered or chopped Apples
2 tbsp chopped Shallots
0.5 Teaspoon Thyme
0.25 cup Apple Juice
0.25 cup Soup, Chicken Broth
1 tsp Country Dijon Mustard

Recipe Directions for Pork Dijon with Cider Pan Sauce

  1. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high. Brown pork chops. Remove from skillet and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 435 for 6-8 minutes.

  2. Add apple, shallot, and thyme to skillet. Cook over medium, until begins to brown. Add apple juice, scrapping up brown bits from pan. Cook 2 minutes, then add broth and mustard. Cook 2 more minutes.

  3. Serve sauce over pork chops.
