Pork Chops in Onion & Beer Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Pork Chops in Onion & Beer Sauce

5 pork chops
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp white flour
1/2 white onion, chopped
6 oz amber bock beer
1/2 cup beef broth, hot
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 garlic clove, minced

Recipe Directions for Pork Chops in Onion & Beer Sauce

  1. Season chops with salt & pepper & coat with flour.

  2. Spray pan with nonstick spray, add chops, fry each side 3 minutes.

  3. Add onions, cook 5 minutes turning chops once.

  4. Pour in beer and broth.

  5. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

  6. Remove chops to preheated oven.

  7. Season sauce to taste.

  8. Blend cornstarch with small amount of water, stir into sauce, cook untill thick and bubbly.

  9. Pour over pork chops and serve.
