Skillet braised chops and cabbage

Recipe Ingredients for pork chops and cabbage

1 tablespoon butter
1 small onion, chopped
1 gala apple, chopped
4 cups green cabbage, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 3/5 lbs pork chops, bone-in
2 bacon, slices

Recipe Directions for pork chops and cabbage

  1. Brown Chops quickly in hot skillet and remove.

  2. Add butter and onions to the skillet until translucent.

  3. Add cabbage and cover 10 minutes.

  4. Add apple and stir.

  5. Place chops on top of cabbage, cover and cook 20min.

  6. Turn chops over and stir cabbage.

  7. Cover and cook another 20 minutes.
