Pork chops with a side of Cabbage and apple combo

Recipe Ingredients for Pork chops with cabbage, onions and apple

1.63 pounds pork, rib, bone in
4 cups cabbage
1 medium onion
1 medium apple, gala
1 tbsp margarine

Recipe Directions for Pork chops with cabbage, onions and apple

  1. Wash and pat dry chops, then season with salt and pepper.

  2. Bake in 350F oven until internal temp > 155.

  3. Cut cabbage and add to melted margarine

  4. Add chopped onion.

  5. Add diced apple to skillet about 5 minutes before serving.

  6. Remove pork from oven and lay on top of skillet mixture.

  7. Cover with lid to keep warm until serving.
