Pork and beans without a lot of pork fat.

Recipe Ingredients for Pork and Beans

1 c. dried beans
3 oz. bacon
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard
1 med. onion, diced
2 tbsp. Ketchup
3 cups chicken stock

Recipe Directions for Pork and Beans

  1. Water to cover, soak beans overnight. Drain.

  2. Heat cooker and sear bacon slices

  3. Add beans, sugar, , mustard, salt, onion, Ketchup and water (enough to cover beans).

  4. crock pot high 4 to 6 hours
