Easy stove-top meatballs. The recipe is calculated using 96% lean ground sirloin (ie. 140 cal per 4 oz. serv.) and I make about 20 meatballs, so 4 meatballs per serving based on the nutritional values calculated.

Recipe Ingredients for Porcupine Meatballs

1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
15 ounces can tomato sauce
1 cup water
3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Recipe Directions for Porcupine Meatballs

Combine the first seven ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1 to 1-1/2-in. balls. Bake meatballs in 350 oven for about 10 minutes, turning half ways through. Place meatballs in a large skillet. Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
