Makes 12 servings



Easy recipe but takes 40-45 minutes to bake

Recipe Ingredients for Popovers

2 large eggs
1 cup 2% Milk
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup flour

Recipe Directions for Popovers

  1. Place eggs in mixing bowl add milk, flour and salt.

  2. Beat 1.5 minutes with rotary or electric mixer.

  3. Add oil, beat 30 seconds more.

  4. Fill 12 well greased custard cups half full. Bake in very hot oven (475) for 15 minutes.

  5. Reduce oven to moderate(350) and bake 25 to 30 minutes more or til browned and firm.

  6. A few minutes before removing from oven, prick with fork to let steam escape.

  7. Serve hot. (makes 6-8 large popovers or 12 small ones.
