This is Grandma Betty's famous Pop-over recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Pop overs

2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 c. milk

Recipe Directions for Pop overs

  1. POPOVERS

  2. 450*-20min.+350*-20 min 12 large

  3. 2 eggs

  4. 1 cup flour (spoon into cup & level off)

  5. 1/4 tsp salt

  6. 1 c. milk

  7. Mix all ingredients together in bowl with wire Wisk but not too

  8. fast- just enough to get most of the lumps gone.

  9. Hints:

  10. If beaten too hard or too much it gets foamy & they won't

  11. raise too well.

  12. Spray pans well after warming in the oven(only about 2 min.)

  13. --& then fill about 3/4 full to bake. Heating the pans

  14. before pouring in the batter helps to make them raise higher also.
